David Archuleta

David Archuleta

David Archuleta was runner-up to the 2008 American Idol. In March 2012 he began serving for two years as a missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Santiago, Chili. He finished his mission and returned home in late March 2014.

In December 2013, David performed at the Santiago Chile Temple Christmas Concert four songs in Spanish: "Oh Holy Night," "Mary Did You Know," "Little Drummer Boy" and "Los Pastores a Belen." Some performances were accompanied by a live orchestra and a background choir, while Archuleta sang "Los Pastores A Belen" a cappella with the help of the audience. Here is Elder Archuleta's performance of "Little Drummer Boy."


Before his mission, David was a guest of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir on their program "A Wondrous Christmas."
